HJC has launched the i72, a new full-face helmet engineered around the fundamentals of riding: reduced weight, compact dimensions, and lasting comfort.

Featuring a slim, sharp-edged profile, the i72 eliminates unnecessary bulk while focusing on the performance and functionality riders value most on the road.

The helmet’s aerodynamically refined design significantly reduces wind resistance. Compared with its predecessor, the chin area is 25% smaller, contributing to a more compact and lightweight construction. Drag force has been reduced by 20%, while lift force has been lowered by 35%, helping to minimize noise and improve stability at high speeds. The result is less strain on the rider’s neck during long-distance journeys and a more comfortable, focused riding experience.

The i72 also includes practical features developed for real-world riding conditions. A Pinlock insert is included as standard, delivering excellent fog-resistant performance and helping maintain a clear field of vision in changing weather. The one-touch center-lock visor mechanism allows riders to open and close the visor easily, even while wearing thick riding gloves. An adjustable sun shield with 8 mm of travel further enables riders to customize its position according to their facial features and personal preferences.

Fit, comfort, and safety remain central to the i72’s design. Three shell sizes and four EPS liner sizes provide a more precise and optimized fit across the size range. An eyeglass-friendly interior helps prevent pressure points for riders who wear glasses, while the comfort liner uses materials certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 for added confidence during extended use. The helmet is also designed to accommodate universal Bluetooth communication systems, enhancing connectivity on the road.
